1350 Distilling of Colorado Springs, Colorado announced October 5, 2022 they raised $2,034.39 during their Third Quarter’s Angel Battalion’s Nonprofit Quarterly Focus for Mt. Carmel Veterans Services Center during the months of July through September 2022.
Funds were collected from 1350 Distilling’s total bottle sales made in their Taste Lounge at 520 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ten percent of every bottle sold there is donated to their Angel Battalion Nonprofit Quarterly Focus.
A check presentation to Bob McLaughlin, Executive Director of Mt. Carmel Veterans Services Center was conducted on September 29, 2022 at 1350 Distilling at their Ambassador meeting held in 1350 Distilling’s Private Room.
“Mt. Carmel is an amazing group of kind-hearted, hard-working people in our community,” stated co-owner, and Angel Battalion leader, Abbie Weien. “We admire the many levels of support they provide military, veterans, and their families in the Pikes Peak Region. We are proud to provide this donation to their cause.”
Since their first bottle release in 2019, 1350 Distilling has pledged on every bottle "Ten percent of profits donated to local family and veteran nonprofit organizations". Starting this year, they have expanded the Angel Battalion Nonprofit Quarterly Focus in hopes to make a larger impact for individual charities in our community. This is what is meant with their slogan also printed on every bottle label, "Taste the difference. Make a difference."
