We are closing
1350 Distilling, a proud Colorado Springs-based craft distillery that has served the local community with quality spirits and memorable experiences since 2019, announces with a heavy heart that it will be closing its doors permanently on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Since its inception, 1350 Distilling has been dedicated to honoring our country’s military and first responders through our unique branding, award-winning, high-quality products, and unwavering commitment to community engagement. Over the years, we have built a loyal customer base, hosted countless events, and provided a gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
“One of our primary goals was to give back to our community,” said Phillip Bragg, Co-Founder and Head Distiller of 1350 Distilling. “Over our five years of operation, we raised over $20,000 for local nonprofits, and provided thousands of dollars of product in like-kind-donations and services.”
“This decision was not made lightly,” said Jake Weien, Co-Founder of 1350 Distilling. “We are incredibly grateful to our loyal customers, employees, and partners who have supported us throughout this journey. Together, we built something special, and we’ll always cherish the memories and relationships made here.”
As a token of appreciation, 1350 Distilling will be offering special discounts on remaining inventory leading up to the closing date. They invite all their customers to visit them one last time to celebrate the legacy created together. Their hours of operation are:

Guardian Bourbon - Coast Guard Edition
80 Proof / 40% ABV
Gold Medal - The Fifty Best Bourbon 2022
Silver Medal - Bartender Spirit Award 2024

The U.S. Coast Guard is our nation’s oldest continuous operating maritime service. Both a law enforcement agency and a military service, these “Guardians” support, protect, and defend our country’s coasts and waterways, and rescue those in need. Here's to the Guardians!
Bourbon is considered America’s native spirit. In 1764, England enacted the Sugar Act that taxed molasses and infuriated the colonists. Instead of using Caribbean sugars, they began using something in more immediate abundance... corn! Our Guardian Bourbon represents the United States Coast Guard in its bright life vest orange label. It is a three-year barrel-aged 99% corn bourbon finish with great tasting Rocky Mountain water. The Coast Guard motto is Semper Paratus - Latin meaning “Always ready” which is so fitting for this bourbon. It is great neat or over ice. It mixes well, but also makes for a smooth Old Fashion too.
